Job summary

Sinai Residences is seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team in Boca Raton, FL. This full-time role requires preparing menu items, following standardized recipes, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen to deliver high-quality meals.

You will work closely with Chefs and teammates, contribute ideas to improve operations, and support all kitchen functions to ensure exceptional guest experiences. A Great Place to Work culture supports growth and development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of cook experience in a restaurant, hotel, club, healthcare, or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to read recipes and follow preparation standards.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and safe food handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items following standardized recipes and culinary standards
• Prepare soups, sauces, stocks, roasted and braised items
• Work across multiple cook stations while maintaining quality and efficiency
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
• Collaborate with Chefs and culinary team members to execute service successfully
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
• Contribute ideas to improve kitchen operations and guest experience
• Support dishwashing and kitchen operations as needed
