Qualifications

• At least 1 year of cooking experience, preferably in a hospital or long-term care setting.
• Must obtain and maintain ServSafe Certification.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and dietary restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to approved menus and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure meals meet dietary restrictions and special diets (including pureed diets).
• Maintain kitchen in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition.
• Supervise kitchen operations in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor.
