You may also assist with kitchen oversight when the Dietary Supervisor is not present.### **Key Responsibilities*** Prepare and cook meals according to **approved menus and dietary guidelines*** Ensure meals meet **dietary restrictions and special diets**, including modified textures* Maintain a **clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment*** Follow food safety and **portion control standards*** Monitor and record **food temperatures*** Assist with meal service and ensure food presentation is appealing* Maintain sanitizer solutions and follow cleaning schedules* Clean kitchen equipment, workspaces, and serving carts* Support dietary staff and collaborate with other departments* Assist with supervision of kitchen operations in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor### **Qualifications*** High school diploma or GED required* **At least 1 year of cooking experience**, preferably in **healthcare or long-term care*** Must obtain and maintain **ServSafe Certification*** Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and dietary needs* Experience with **PointClickCare (PCC) preferred*** Strong teamwork and communication skills* Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented### ### ### **Why Join Cherrydale Post Acute?**At Cherrydale, you’re part of a team that values your work and supports your growth.
