Qualifications

• Directly supervises food-service associates in accordance with policies and laws.
• Trains employees; plans, assigns and directs work; evaluates performance; handles disciplinary issues.
• Advises management on purchasing to minimize waste and shortages.
• Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and portions.
• Maintains HACCP guidelines to ensure food safety.
• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures.
• Manages storage, dating and rotation to minimize spoilage.
• Assists during meals and collects customer feedback.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise food-service staff and enforce policies.
• Train and mentor associates; monitor performance and issues.
• Assist management with purchasing to reduce waste and shortages.
• Ensure correct portioning and serving temperatures.
• Operate and maintain food-service equipment safely.
• Store, label, date, and rotate inventory to minimize spoilage.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and safety procedures.
• Engage with customers and address feedback as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
