Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen, preferably in a Nursing Home setting.
• Experience cooking large quantities to feed 160 residents per meal service.
• Certificate or associate degree in culinary arts preferred.
• Food handling certificate and knowledge of geriatric diets.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a kitchen, preferably in a Nursing Home setting

• Expereince for cooking large quantities of food to feed 160 residents per meal service.

• Certificate or associate degree from a community college in culinary arts, cooking preferred

• Food handling certificate from your state and knowledge of geriatric diets

• Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware

• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, etc.)

• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures

• Capacity to work in a team
