Job summary

Amity Foundation in Los Angeles is seeking a compassionate Cook to join their Beacon project. You will prepare meals for our prison program students, ensuring nutrition and safety are prioritized while helping to train students in cooking and food service.

Qualifications

• One year related culinary experience and/or training.
• Current state driver's license.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all meals and assure timely preparation.
• Maintain sanitation, nutrition, and safety standards.
• Train students in food service activities.
