Job summary

Stonebridge at Montgomery, a Springpoint Senior Living Community in Skillman, NJ, is seeking Cooks to join the team. Cooks prepare food per recipes and standards, ensuring quality, safety and proper portioning.

Responsibilities include serving, ordering, records, and maintaining clean cooking areas in a supportive team environment. Hourly rate ranges from $20 to $25, with emphasis on HACCP compliance and safe food-handling procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have culinary experience.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and portion controls.
• Ability to maintain clean, organized kitchen areas.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and maintaining proper serving temperatures.
• Performs proper record-keeping and follows ticket procedures during service.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and storerooms; stores or discards food per safety standards.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in production planning, recording and reporting as required.
• Assists in ordering and receiving of food and supplies.
• Reports needed maintenance or safety issues to supervisor immediately.
• Maintains safe work environment and follows company policies and procedures.
