Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a qualified Cook to prepare meals for residents, guests, and staff. You will follow menus and standard recipes, plate with precision, and collaborate with kitchen team to maintain quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma (or equivalent) or technical school.
• A minimum of three years of line cook experience and/or training.
• Good communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare food for residents, guests, and employees.
• Prepare food according to the planned menu using standard recipes.
• Plate food items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructions.
• Assist other kitchen staff as needed. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Ensure sufficient food is prepped and/or prepared.
• Communicate shortages or outages to supervisor.
• Ensure freshness, proper seasoning, and safety of all foods served.
• Stock and clean station for next shift and follow proper food rotation policies.
• Maintain a positive attitude to support a team environment.
