CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a Cook to prepare food for residents, guests, and staff in a senior living environment. You will follow menus and standardized recipes, plate with care, and support the kitchen team to ensure timely service and quality meals.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 3 years of line cook experience along with strong communication skills. The role emphasizes safety, sanitation, and a positive, collaborative work atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High School diploma (or equivalent) or technical school.
• Minimum of three years of line cook experience and/or training.
• Good communication skills required.

Responsabilités

• Cook and prepare food for residents, guests, and employees.
• Prepare food according to planned menu using standard recipes.
• Plate food items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructions.
• Assist other kitchen staff as needed; perform duties assigned by supervisor.
• Ensure sufficient food is prepped and/or prepared.
• Communicate shortages or outages to supervisor.
• Maintain freshness, proper seasoning, and cooking status of all foods.
• Stock and clean station for next shift.
• Follow food rotation policies.
• Maintain a positive team environment.
• Promote positive relations with residents, families, and guests.
• Ensure privacy, dignity, and well-being of residents in a safe environment.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards.
• Clean and inspect kitchen appliances and work areas.
• Present professional appearance with uniform and name tag.
