Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Cook to support the Kitchen Manager and prepare meals for residents in our Bread Basket dining experience. You will help ensure meals are served on time, at proper temperatures, and plated nicely in a restaurant-style setting.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety and dietary guidelines, and maintaining a clean, well-organized kitchen. Full-time position with benefits and daily pay options are available.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following menus, processes and expectations.
• Serve meals on time, at correct temperatures, and nicely plated.
• Follow Bickford’s service processes during meals.
• Interact with residents to enhance dining experiences.
• Wash dishes and manage ware according to procedure.
• Follow the Kitchen Daily Task Guide.
• Use the Meal Order Information form to track diets, allergies and preferences.
• Maintain accurate food service records as required by policies.
• Store food per regulatory requirements and policies.
• Complete tasks from the Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas to meet standards.
• Keep Bistro/Beverage Bar stocked with refreshments.
• Coordinate with Kitchen Manager to support tours and events.
