Job summary

Busch Gardens Tampa is seeking a Senior Cook for part-time, event-driven kitchen operations. You will coordinate menu production, adjust portions for large park events, oversee deliveries, and prepare a wide range of dishes while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The role requires 2 years of related experience, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 55 pounds in a fast-paced environment. Availability includes weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Must have two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have strong written/verbal communication skills.
  • Must have strong basic math skills.
  • Must be able to lift/move up to 55 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods and work in hot/cold environments.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate production of menu items for special events.
  • Adjust food quantity to accommodate park guest attendance.
  • Oversee delivery and coordination of food delivery to event sites.
  • Read menu to estimate food requirements and orders food from supplier.
  • Bake, roast, broil and steam meats, fish, vegetables and other foods.
  • Portion food on serving plates and garnish to fulfill orders.
  • Ensure excellent customer service by responding to guest needs.
