This role will work with the Executive Sous Chef to plan and coordinate menus for special events and banquets. The Pastry Chef will also:* Maintain existing recipes and standards* Coach, teach and develop bakery team members* Responsible for facility sanitation, cleanliness and monitoring facility equipment* Develop and implement new ideas as needed* Responsible for daily operation of central baking kitchen & Flamingo Kitchen* Prepare desserts for caterings and special events* Requisition food and supplies through approved systems* Direct kitchen team members engaged in preparing, cooking and serving food* Carries out supervisory duties in accordance with company policies* Assist other location and areas as needed* Other duties as assigned by the Executive Sous ChefTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
