Job summary

AdventHealth in Castle Rock, CO is seeking a professional cook to prepare and cook meals for patients, cafe service, and catering events. You will follow recipes, maintain production records, and ensure dietary compliance and quality standards.

The role requires hospital food service experience, strong teamwork, and adherence to HACCP guidelines. This on-site, full-time position offers daily responsibilities and opportunities to contribute to patient comfort and well-being.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of healthcare or commercial cooking experience
• Experience in hospital food service setting preferred
• CFSP certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals for patients, café service, and catering events.
• Create and update menus, recipes, and production records to support dietary compliance and efficiency.
• Maintain clean and sanitary workspaces, equipment, and storage areas by following HACCP guidelines and recording temperatures.
• Oversee food production activities, ensuring proper portioning, batch cooking, and adherence to culinary standards for patient and retail services.
• Communicate with the FANS Coordinator and team to coordinate daily operations, resolve issues, and ensure service expectations are met.
• Other duties as assigned.
