Job Description

We are currently hiring a Seasonal Cook in Cincinnati, OH.

Creates world-class food to complement our world-class beers and spirits. Keeps food orders flowing in an efficient, sanitary, timely, and orderly manner with consistent appearance, quality, and taste. Helps control food costs and waste through proper labeling, storing, and rotating of all food.

What You'll Brew:
  • Follow recipes to timely fill food orders of consistent taste, quality, and presentation
  • Prepare and set up food for all stations according to par sheet specifications; provide feedback to kitchen management about the effectiveness of existing pars
  • Support kitchen management's efforts to control food costs via proper rotation, storage, labeling, and preparation of all food
  • Maintain awareness of kitchen equipment, food levels, etc., and advise management of potential concerns or outages
  • Foster positive working relationships and good communication within the kitchen team and other restaurant teams
  • Enforce and adhere to all safety regulations as required by the position and company safety program
  • Enforce and adhere to all sanitation initiatives, ensuring checklists are completed within prescribed timeframes
What Ingredients You'll Bring:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of culinary/kitchen experience (high-volume establishment preferred)
  • Working knowledge of executing recipes
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, sometimes repeatedly
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods (up to 11 hours) on various surfaces
  • Interface with computer systems with precision
  • Ability to handle kitchen and service equipment

Compensation:

In accordance with pay transparency laws, the pay rate for this role if hired is $18-$20 per hour, depending on experience, skillset, and location.
