Job summary

Compass Health Network in El Dorado Springs is seeking a PRN Cook for our Adult Residential Intensive program. You will create nourishing meals and maintain a welcoming kitchen in a safe, home-like environment, following dietary menus and food safety standards.

This part-time position requires high school or GED and at least one year experience with individuals who have developmental disabilities or mental illness.

Qualifications

• High School/GED preferred
• At least one year experience in a related field, specifically working with persons with a developmental disability and/or mental illness, preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean kitchen that meets state food safety regulations
• Prepare meals aligned with dietary menus and client needs
• Label, date, and rotate food to ensure freshness and safety
• Track inventory and maintain a three-day food supply at all times
• Coordinate with staff for special events or occasions
• Participate in required training and ongoing learning opportunities
