Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Cook for Southeast Behavioral Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. The Cook prepares and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner for patients and staff according to the menu and production sheets.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, 2 years cooking experience, and ability to work with minimal supervision. Flexible hours, weekends and holidays may be required; comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Cook is responsible for the preparation and service of breakfast, lunch and dinner meals for patients and facility staff according to the approved menu cycle and production sheets.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Training in food service sanitation and possession of food service food handler's card is required.

Experience: Two (2) years' experience in quantity cooking, preferred; basic knowledge of modified diets; experience utilizing industrial kitchen equipment and utensils.

Additional Requirements: Must be able to work with minimal supervision. May be required to work overtime, flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.
