Salt Lake Behavioral Health is seeking a dynamic Cook for our Dietary Department in Salt Lake City, UT. This full-time role supports breakfast, lunch and dinner service for patients and staff, following approved menus and production sheets.
The Cook will prepare meals including modified diets, maintain sanitation, and ensure timely service while collaborating with the Dietary Manager and Dietician. A Food Handlers Permit is required, with prior hospital kitchen experience preferred.

The Cook is responsible for the cooking, preparation and service of breakfast, lunch and dinner meals for patients and facility staff according to the approved menu cycle and production sheets.

Education: High School Degree or equivalent preferred
Experience: At least three (3) years experience in quantity cooking preferred. A basic knowledge of modified diets; training in food service sanitation; experience utilizing industrial kitchen equipment and utensils; and some prior hospital kitchen experience helpful.
Additional Requirements: Must have Food Handlers Permit.
