The Embassy Suites Dorado del Mar Beach Resort is looking for their next Cook to join their team.

Embassy Suites Dorado del Mar Beach Resort is located on Puerto Rico's northern coast, offering a private beachfront with views of the Atlantic Ocean. It is just 10 minutes from Manuel Morales Beach and 21 miles from central San Juan. Guests can relax in the outdoor lagoon-style pool with ocean views and enjoy made-to-order breakfast and complimentary evening receptions.

Ideal candidates will have full availability, at least 1 year of cooking experience, a culinary degree, and a food safety certification.

Shift Pattern: Full availability with rotating shifts throughout the week.

Pay Rate: $11.50 per hour

What will I be doing?

As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes to ensure an excellent guest and member experience. You will also prepare all mis-en-place and contribute to departmental targets. Your tasks will include:

• Preparing and presenting high-quality dishes within company guidelines
• Maintaining clean and tidy work areas, preventing cross-contamination
• Preparing all mis-en-place for relevant menus
• Assisting other departments as needed and maintaining good working relationships
• Reporting maintenance, hygiene, and hazard issues
• Complying with hotel security, fire regulations, health, safety, and food safety legislation
• Striving to meet departmental targets as part of the team
• Being environmentally conscious
