The Embassy Suites Dorado del Mar Beach Resort is seeking a Cook to join their team.

Embassy Suites Dorado del Mar Beach Resort features a private beachfront on Puerto Rico's northern coast, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It is located 10 minutes from Manuel Morales Beach and 21 miles from central San Juan. Guests can relax in the outdoor lagoon-style pool with ocean views and enjoy made-to-order breakfast and complimentary evening receptions.

The ideal candidate will have full availability, at least 1 year of cooking experience, a culinary degree, and a food safety certification.

Shift Pattern: Full availability with rotating shifts throughout the week.

Pay Rate: $11.50 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes according to company guidelines
• Maintain clean and tidy work areas, ensuring no cross-contamination
• Prepare all mis-en-place for relevant menus
• Assist other departments as necessary and foster good working relationships
• Report maintenance, hygiene, and hazard issues
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health, safety, and food safety legislation
• Strive to meet departmental targets and contribute to team goals
• Be environmentally conscious

Candidate Requirements:

• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Preferred but not required:
