Navion Senior Solutions is hiring a Cook at Chatham Ridge to prepare and serve fresh, appealing meals and create a welcoming dining experience for residents. This full-time role runs 2:00 PM to 7:30 PM, with Tapcheck payroll options for earned wages.

Ideal candidates have ServSafe or willingness to obtain, a High School diploma (GED accepted), and culinary training or apprenticeship. One year of food prep experience is preferred; NC rules apply for machine operation.

• 1 year of food preparation experience; full-line menu and therapeutic diets.

• Maintains a current ServSafe certificate (food services sanitation certificate) or able to participate in the food services sanitation training to become ServSafe certified
• High School diploma or GED accepted
• A culinary apprenticeship or training is preferred
• One (1) year job related experience including food preparation, full-line menu items and therapeutic diets
• Must be 16 years or older.
• In NC, must be 18 years or older if operating power-driven machines such as a meat slicer, mixer, etc.
• Three years' experience in a healthcare, hospitality or service environment preferred
• Culinary arts experience preferred
• CPR & First-Aid certifications preferred
• Ability to work in an environment conducive to caring for residents without posing a substantial safety or health threat to self or others
• Ability to work well with others and promote a team environment
