Job summary

Caring Places Management is seeking a Part-Time Cook to support Riverside Place in Hoquiam, WA. The role centers on preparing nutritious meals for seniors and maintaining kitchen hygiene in a memory care setting.

Applicants must be able to work weekends, hold a valid Food Handler's License, and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Wage is $18–$20 per hour, DOE, with benefits including health insurance, telehealth, dental & vision, HSA, 401K, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work weekends.
• Must have a valid Food Handler's License.
• Background check may be required.
• Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for seniors ensuring proper nutrition.
• Assist with food prep and kitchen clean-up during shifts.

Requirements

• Must be able to work weekends
• High school degree or equivalent required
• Must have a valid Food Handler's License
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Previous experience as a busboy, washer, waiter, cook, or relevant work experience preferred!
• Must be physically able to stand and move during the length of shift; able to bend and kneel through shift; able to lift to 30 pounds or more
