Job summary

Caring Places Management is seeking a Cook at Forest Grove Beehive in Forest Grove, OR. The role supports senior residents with nutritious meals, prepared in large quantities for daily service. The position is available as either part-time or full-time with wage starting at $20 per hour, DOE.

Benefits include health insurance, telehealth, dental and vision coverage, HSA, 401K with employer matching, and generous PTO. A valid Food Handler’s License is required or obtainable on hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Current valid Food Handler's License, or able to obtain upon hire.
• Previous experience cooking for large batches or in a similar setting preferred.

• Cook in large batches to serve groups of seniors efficiently.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent required
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Current valid Food Handler's License, or able to obtain upon hire
• Previous experience as a cook, cooking large batches, or relevant experience preferred!
• Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift; able to bend and kneel through shift; able to lift to 35 pounds or more, routinely.
