Job summary

Westhaven Villa, an Assisted Living community in Aberdeen, WA, seeks a Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents with care and attention to dietary needs. This full-time role requires weekend work and a commitment to a homelike environment that values teamwork and quality care.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Must have a valid Food Handler's License.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Previous experience as a busboy, washer, waiter, cook, or relevant work experience preferred.
• Must be physically able to stand and move during the length of shift; able to bend and kneel through shift; able to lift to 30 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for seniors with attention to nutrition and quality.
• Maintain clean and safe kitchen area and assist with food service as needed.
