Job summary

Schnepp Senior Care & Rehab in Missouri is seeking a part-time cook to join our award-winning team. You will prepare meals, coordinate production with serving times, and maintain quality and appearance for every guest. Starting pay is $16.85 per hour with $0.85 Hero Pay and yearly wage increases.

We offer tuition reimbursement, medical with no deductible, generous PTO, Dental & Vision, and a 401k plan. Eight-hour shifts with rotating weekends and no late nights provide scheduling flexibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ServSafe certification is required or preferred.
• Basic computer skills are required for scheduling and records.
• At least 2 years of related food service experience, preferably in healthcare or long-term care.

Responsibilities

• You will prepare meals following guidelines and regulations.
• You will coordinate food production with serving times to ensure quality, temperature and presentation.
• You may assist with tray line setup and plate assembly.
• You will assist with daily kitchen cleaning.
• You will promote hospitality and excellent customer service in all interactions with guests, families, and visitors.

What you will need to be part of our EPIC team:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ServSafe certified.
• Basic Computer Skills
• At least 2 years of related food experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility, with strong knowledge of food procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!
