Job summary

Caring Places Management is seeking a Part-Time Cook for Chinook Place in Madras, OR. You will prepare nutritious meals for seniors, ensuring proper nutrition while complying with safety standards.

Requirements include a current food handlers license, a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to pass a background check, and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Prior kitchen experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a current food handlers license.
• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Previous experience as a busboy, washer, waiter, cook, or relevant work experience is preferred.
• Must be able to stand, move, bend and kneel through shift; and able to lift to 35 pounds or more routinely.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for residents in a senior living setting.
• Ensure meals meet nutritional and dietary requirements for residents.
