Job summary

Tel Hai Retirement Community in Honey Brook, PA is seeking a Part Time Cook to join our culinary team. The schedule is Every Other Weekend, 11am-7:30pm, with no late nights and holidays off, supporting a healthy work-life balance.

The role requires at least one year of cooking experience (healthcare preferred) and SERV Safe certification is a plus. We offer competitive pay up to $21.59 per hour, a welcoming team, and generous benefits including free meals, on-site fitness, PTO, and a 401k plan.

Qualifications

• At least one year of cooking experience, preferably in healthcare or food service.
• SERV Safe Certification preferred.
• Health care setting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares daily menu items following proper food handling techniques.
• Maintains cooking equipment and performs daily cleaning duties.
• Provides excellent customer service and phone etiquette.
• Covers, labels, dates, and stores leftover items properly.

Requirements

Cook Qualifications:

• At least one year of prior cooking experience is required; preferably in a health care setting (for part time) or full service restaurant/catering (for full time.)
• SERV Safe Certification preferred.
