Job summary

Country Meadows is hiring a Cook to prepare and package meals for residents, with a focus on quality and consistency. The role offers career paths and ongoing training to help you advance your culinary skills while maintaining work-life balance.

The position is part-time, 6:30am-2:30pm, Saturdays and Sundays, with every other weekend and holiday off. Benefits include health coverage, retirement plans and paid time off. Join a family-owned company serving seniors for over 30 years.

• Ability to understand and speak English well enough to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, cooks and packages recipes using broilers, ovens and a variety of other kitchen equipment.
• Ensures all prep work is completed.
• Understands and complies with standard recipes, quality standards and kitchen rules.
• Ensures quality of food at all times.
• Keeps area clean and maintains sanitation.
• Cleans equipment and completes cleaning schedules.
• Documents and completes food and temperature records.
• Uses Point of Service technology to obtain meal orders from residents as needed.
