Southcoast Behavioral Health in Dartmouth, MA is hiring a Part-Time Cook to join our dietary services team. Under supervision, you will prepare meals, follow approved menus, and help ensure nutrition and quality for a diverse patient population.

The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and ServSafe or similar certification. Two+ years in institutional food service preferred. This on-site role offers competitive hourly pay between $20 and $23 and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Additional education or training in the culinary field preferred.
• Two or more years' experience in food service role in preparing food for institutions, such as school, hospital or cafeteria preferred.

• Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures, quality standards, cost parameters, and appropriate regulatory requirements.
• Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

Southcoast Behavioral Health, located in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, is a premier mental health treatment center with 192 beds. We serve pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, as well as adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

Rates between $20.00 - $23.00/hr (depending on experience and education)

PURPOSE STATEMENT:

Under general direction, implement menus and coordinate food preparation and serve meals.
