+ Location: Novant Health Clemmons Medical Center - 6915 Village Medical Circle, Clemmons, NC 27012. Note: online applications accepted only.

+ Schedule: Part-time; approximately 21 hours per week. Days may vary, with availability between 11:00 am and 7:30 pm. Rotating weekends. More details upon interview.

+ Requirement: Prior experience in a similar role preferred.

+ Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring quality and safety at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepare high-quality food items following standardized recipes to meet production and service schedules.
2. Serve meals or prepare for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and presentation. Taste all prepared food.
3. Use established procedures for ticket collection and record keeping during service.
4. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, store or discard excess food per safe handling procedures.
5. Keep refrigerators and storerooms organized and clean.
6. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.
7. Assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting.
8. Assist in ordering and receiving food and supplies.
9. Report maintenance issues or faulty equipment immediately.
10. Attend in-service and safety meetings.
11. Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
12. Follow safety protocols, including proper handling of knives and hot equipment, and wear slip-resistant shoes.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.
14. Follow HACCP standards for presentation, portion control, and temperature maintenance.
