Mallard Ridge Assisted Living, a community of Navion Senior Living, is seeking cooks to assist in the preparation, oversight, and serving of meals. Our cooks are responsible for delivering top-notch food service in a high-quality, cutting-edge Assisted Living and Memory Care Community. The successful candidates will employ their culinary and managerial skills to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our residents' satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Maintains a current ServSafe certificate (food sanitation) or able to participate in training to become certified
  • High School diploma or GED
  • A culinary apprenticeship or training is preferred
  • One (1) year of job-related experience in food preparation, menu items, and therapeutic diets
  • Must be 16 years or older; in NC, 18 years or older if operating power-driven machines
  • Three (3) years’ experience in healthcare, hospitality, or service environment (preferred)
  • Culinary arts experience (preferred)
  • CPR & First-Aid certifications (preferred)
  • Ability to work in a safe, resident-focused environment
  • Ability to work well with others and promote teamwork
