• We are hiring immediately for part-time COOK positions.
• Address: Sacred Heart Village - 515 North Main Street, Avilla, IN 46710. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Part-time, days may vary, 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, including alternating weekends; more details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous line cook and prep cook experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.

• Pay Range: $18.00 to $19.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepare food according to standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare high-quality food items following recipes and instructions.
• Serve meals, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and presentation.
• Use proper ticketing procedures during service and maintain records.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas, following food safety standards.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment properly.
• Assist in planning, record-keeping, ordering, and reporting.
• Report maintenance issues and participate in safety meetings.
• Maintain good relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Follow safety procedures, including PPE use and proper lifting techniques.
