Type: Part Time

Location: Joplin, Missouri

Wage Range: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Shift Schedule: Monday & Sunday, 10:30 am - 6:30 pm

Join our team at The Wildwood Senior Living, located at 3002 S. John Duffy Dr., Joplin, Missouri 64804!

We are looking for someone like you:

1. To be a Culinary Craftsman: Prepare all menu items according to standards and recipes, providing high-quality, attractively presented food in a timely manner.
2. To take the Mess Out of Mess Hall: Follow health protocols, including hygiene, sanitation, and proper food temperatures.
3. To be a Culinary Connector: Get to know residents, their preferences, and participate in resident orientations.

What are we looking for?

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
• You have a current Food Handlers Card as required by the Department of Health.
• You demonstrate skills, knowledge, and competency in leadership, training, and supervision.
• You possess proficient communication skills with management and staff.
• This role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• You can frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• You are comfortable with extreme temperatures, including cooking surfaces and walk-in freezers.
• You can work indoors and be available for outdoor events.
• You must be criminally cleared.
