Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities in Jefferson City, MO is hiring for a Cook responsible for providing residents and guests with a pleasant dining experience through the efficient and sanitary preparation and service of high quality, nutritious meals.

Follows written recipes, assists in developing menus and daily prep lists, and helps with inventory. Maintains a clean, sanitary kitchen and supports cooking methods including baking, frying, salads, and sautéing.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience required.
• Sanitation Certification (ServSafe) or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Must be flexible and accommodating to residents and guests.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Follow written recipes to prepare high quality, nutritious meals.
• Assist in developing menus and daily prep lists.
