Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will help ensure quality, safety, and appealing presentation while supporting residents and staff daily.

Join HCSG to contribute to a compassionate dining program, participate in training, and help deliver excellent service in a team-driven environment at an onsite facility in New Hampshire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook/food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain positive attitude and communicate with staff, residents, and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• May need to complete an approved sanitation and safety course; ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines; keep kitchen clean.
• Assist with inventory management and supplies ordering.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests; provide excellent service.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
