High Point Residence Monmouth is seeking a dependable, experienced Cook to join our culinary team in Monmouth, IL. The part-time role focuses on preparing nutritious meals that meet residents' dietary needs while ensuring a welcoming dining experience.

You will work with the dietary team to follow approved menus, recipes, and safety standards, maintaining a clean kitchen and timely service for residents. Prior healthcare or senior living cooking experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a cook, preferably in healthcare or senior living.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and safe handling practices.

About the Role

High Point Residence is seeking a dependable, experienced, and compassionate Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will prepare nutritious, high-quality meals that meet residents' dietary needs while creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience.

Working alongside our dietary team, you will help ensure meals are prepared according to approved menus, recipes, and food safety standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to approved menus, recipes, and therapeutic dietary requirements.

• Ensure meals are served with consistency, quality, and proper portion control.

• Assist with food preparation for daily meals, special events, and holiday celebrations.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards.

• Properly store, label, and rotate food to ensure freshness and regulatory compliance.

• Monitor kitchen inventory and assist with ordering food and supplies.

• Follow all infection control, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.

• Work collaboratively with dietary team members to provide an exceptional dining experience for residents.
