High Point Residence Monmouth is seeking a dependable, experienced Cook to join our culinary team in Monmouth, IL. The part-time role focuses on preparing nutritious meals that meet residents' dietary needs while ensuring a welcoming dining experience.

You will work with the dietary team to follow approved menus, recipes, and safety standards, maintaining a clean kitchen and timely service for residents. Prior healthcare or senior living cooking experience is preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a cook, preferably in healthcare or senior living.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and safe handling practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook meals according to approved menus, recipes, and dietary requirements.
• Ensure meals are served with consistency, quality, and proper portion control.
• Assist with food preparation for daily meals, events, and holidays.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen per food safety standards.
• Store, label, and rotate food to ensure freshness and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor kitchen inventory and assist with ordering food and supplies.
• Follow infection control, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Collaborate with dietary team to provide an exceptional dining experience for residents.
• Perform additional duties to support the dietary department.
