Job summary

Cook Polymer Technology in Bloomington, IN is offering a paid Summer 2027 R&D Engineering Internship. This 12-week rotation provides real-world experience in medical device manufacturing, a direct mentor, and exposure to projects across the R&D engineering spectrum.

Interns receive a housing stipend, participate in learning events, and present a capstone project. Eligible students are entering their junior or senior year (or graduate students) with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and proof of enrollment.

• Candidates should be entering Junior/Senior year or graduate school for the fall semester
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
• Enrollment proof (including pre-registration for the fall) is required for consideration

The Summer R&D Engineering Intern is a paid internship experience located in Bloomington, IN. We offer a 12-week rotation in Research and Development Engineering. Responsibilities

• Utilize engineering knowledge to produce project deliverables/ documents
• Adhere to the Quality Management System (QMS) and its processes to meet FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, and other applicable regulatory requirements
• Must maintain all training requirements for the position, while seeking out opportunities for continuous development and growth
• Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization
• Must strictly adhere to safety requirements
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Must maintain company quality and quantity standards
• Must have effective communication skills and ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision

Qualifications
