Job summary

JTM Food Group in Harrison, OH is seeking a Cook Machine Operator to set up and operate a cooking machine, following formula instructions for high‑volume production.

You will load ingredients, monitor temperatures, ensure product quality, and work with managers to keep formula updates. This onsite role requires the ability to stand long hours, lift up to 80 lbs, and adhere to safety/HACCP policies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow written instructions in English.
• Capable of reading and writing in English.
• Able to work safely in humid and slippery conditions.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 80 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Handle startup and shutdown duties for kettle cook operation.
• Maintain product quality and adhere to formula instructions.
• Load raw materials into cooking machines and verify ingredients.
• Ensure temperatures and mixer speeds meet specifications.
• Reconcile paperwork and support HACCP/compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with managers to keep formulas up to date.
