Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions is seeking a talented Dietary Cook to join a Skilled Nursing Facility team. You will prepare nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, following standardized recipes, while maintaining high sanitation standards.

This role requires classical culinary training and the ability to work high-volume shifts, plate dishes attractively, support the Dietary Manager, manage inventory, and handle last-minute requests for special events.

Qualifications

• Classically trained Cook experienced in high-volume culinary operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, and cook nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes.
• Plate and garnish cooked items to ensure an attractive presentation.
• Act as a liaison for the Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure seamless meal prep and delivery.
• Maintain high sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning the kitchen and all culinary equipment before and after food service.
• Manage inventory, handle stock rotation, assist with purchasing, and ensure recipe development and compliance.
• Flexibly handle last-minute culinary requests for special events and facility functions.

Position Overview & Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a talented, classically trained Cook experienced in high-volume culinary operations to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility.

• Meal Preparation & Culinary Excellence: Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, and cook a variety of nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes.

• Plating & Presentation: Plate and garnish all cooked items expertly to ensure an attractive menu presentation.
