Modern Market is a farm-fresh eatery serving excellent food in a fast-paced, open kitchen setting. We prioritize food quality and guest experience.

Back of House / Culinary Team

Our culinary team prepares food to high standards. They chop, prep, sauté, grill, bake, and use their skills to create healthy, delicious dishes.

We hire PEOPLE and provide training once onboard. Restaurant experience is a plus, but not required. If you’re enthusiastic, friendly, guest-focused, eager to learn, and a team player, we want you!

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and update menus featuring seasonal ingredients and diverse dishes.
  • Lead and support back-of-house staff, including prep cooks and dishwashers.
  • Execute recipes accurately and consistently.
  • Expand culinary knowledge and techniques.
  • Perform quality and safety checks on all food.
  • Maintain safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
  • Manage kitchen waste and equipment, and clean spills promptly.
