Job description

Bring your cooking talents and kitchen management skills as a Cook at Bright Horizons.

You'll plan menus, prepare meals, and order inventory as you make a real difference in the lives of children, families, and staff.

The hours for this position will be 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. No weekends!

As a Cook, you will:

• Plan and prepare nutritionally balanced meals for children and staff.
• Keep an accurate inventory of supplies and place orders as needed.
• Manage all aspects of meal prep, including cleaning and sanitation compliance.

Requirements:

Candidates must pass required background checks and meet minimum education and experience requirements:

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Relevant experience in a licensed child care center, public school, or commercial kitchen.
• Food service/food handler permit or license according to local regulations; willingness to obtain ServSafe certification upon hire.

Compensation Range: $15.05 - $18.70 / hr
