Job summary

Faith Haven Senior Care Center in Jackson, MI is seeking a cook to join our EPIC team. You will prepare nourishing meals for residents, working closely with the Dietary Director to ensure quality and safety.

This part-time role offers mornings, competitive pay of $17.00–$18.95 per hour with yearly increases and hero pay. Benefits include tuition reimbursement, medical coverage, PTO, and retirement plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of related food experience, preferably supervisory, with strong knowledge of food procedures.

Our cooks prepare amazing and nourishing meals for our residents and ensure the highest quality standards of food service and the best culinary experience is provided at all times.
They work closely with the Dietary Director to create and review menus, prepare food, and ensure the meals are prepared in accordance with established portion control procedures, sanitary regulations, and established policies and procedures.

You will earn:

• $17.00 - $18.95 per hour based on years of experience

Scheduling:

• PartTime - All shifts include rotating weekends and some holidays
• Mornings / Days - 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM
• No late nights!

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related food experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility, with strong knowledge of food procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!
