Trinity Services Group Inc. is hiring a Cook to prepare a variety of hot and cold items inside a jail/correctional facility. You will follow recipes, manage your station with a team, and ensure food safety and quality at all times.

The role requires 1+ year of cooking experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Open availability (early mornings through evenings, including some weekends/holidays) is essential. Training and benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and at least 18 years old.
• At least one year of cooking experience required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and handle kitchen equipment safely.
• Experience in a cafeteria or large-volume food service environment and knowledge of safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Refers to Daily Prep List at the start of each shift for assigned tasks and completes opening and closing checklists daily.
• Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
• Must be comfortable using and operating a variety of equipment including ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers.
• Handle, stores, labels, and rotates all products following applicable state laws.
• You will have physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Be able to stand and be on your feet for much of the scheduled shift.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.
