Job summary

Trinity Services Group seeks a Cook for an onsite role inside a jail/correctional facility. You will prepare a variety of hot and cold items, follow recipes, and maintain food safety while coordinating with team members to serve meals on time.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year of cooking experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. A shift from 7:00am to 5:00pm is expected, with some weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 18+ years old.
• At least 1 year of relevant cooking experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience cooking in a cafeteria or large-volume facility.
• Knowledge of safety procedures in food service.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and menus while ensuring food safety.
• Prepare hot and cold items and perform standard knife cuts.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Report to a Food Service Director in a jail/correctional facility.
• Collaborate with team to produce dishes promptly.
