Role and Responsibilities

Position Summary:
The Cook III at MSP Airport is responsible for delivering the OTG guest experience. Preparing food to the correct temperature, portion, and plating specifications while maintaining a clean and sanitized area is critical to success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on the line in one of OTG’s concepts, preparing menu items and station readiness
  • Control the quality of all food items prepared to OTG specifications and restaurant directions
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment
  • Operate all kitchen equipment (stoves, ovens, broilers, slicers, steamers, kettles, etc.)
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others to achieve guest satisfaction
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be fully conversational in English
  • Minimum of 3 years of culinary experience in a fast-paced dining restaurant
  • Experience on multiple kitchen stations required
  • Must obtain ServSafe certification or equivalent within 30 days of hire
  • Knowledge of cooking procedures, safety, and sanitation
  • Excellent knife skills
  • Able to lift 35 lbs. or more
  • Ability to support other cooks and work in a team environment
Pay rate: $21 per hour.
