Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Cook II at Concordia University Wisconsin to join a weekday morning shift team. You will prepare nutritious dishes with an emphasis on customer service and food waste reduction, working as part of a dedicated kitchen team.

Ideal candidates are team-oriented, adaptable, reliable and committed to a healthy, safe working environment. 3–4 years of related experience is preferred and there are opportunities for growth and benefits beyond compensation.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events.
• Read and follow basic recipes and product directions for preparing various food items.
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station.
• May support management in daily oversight of key functions and employees.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts depending on business needs.
