Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 2 years in high-volume restaurant, hospital, or institution.
• FHC Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days.
• Knowledge of food preparation/handling and sanitation concepts.

Responsibilities

• Handle all areas of production, including both hot and cold production.
• Read and prepare simple or complex recipes to department standards.
• Adjust recipes for quantity.
• Produce high-quality foods that are aesthetically pleasing and tasty.
• Understand department standards of food quality and recipe taste.
• Demonstrates creativity in food presentation in bulk service and individual plating.
• Learn HACCP sanitation guidelines and follow for safe food handling.
