PENN Entertainment in Missouri is hiring a Food Service Team Member to support kitchen operations and guest dining experiences. You will prepare menu items to standard guidelines, maintain stock, and ensure swift, friendly service in a fast-paced casino environment.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma; 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to count money and make change.
• Ability to work high volume days, nights, holidays, and weekends, as needed.
• Professional appearance standards per company policy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, crowded environment.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food to established guidelines and orders.
• Maintain par levels for menu item ingredients and report shortages.
• Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner.
• Communicate with team for prompt customer service.
• Assist with boiling/broiling seafood for events per guidelines.
• Ensure food is fresh and meets guest satisfaction.
• Store and prepare food according to safety standards.
• Wear PPE and follow safety guidelines at all times.
• Stay knowledgeable about products, events, promotions.
• Keep workstation clean and stocked per health guidelines.
• Support customer service standards and programs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and report issues to management.
• Maintain confidentiality in all matters.
