Overlake Medical Center & Clinics is seeking a Cook II to join the Dining Services Team. This role covers hot and cold food production for patients, café, and catering, focusing on quality, presentation, and safe temperatures.

The position offers growth within a respected health system, with benefits and a defined schedule. Prior culinary experience and ServSafe or Food Worker credentials are preferred, along with a culinary-related degree.

Qualifications

• Effective oral and written communication skills to perform job required.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Culinary related degree preferred.
• Knowledge of modified diets preferred.
• Food Worker Card Required (issued by county and valid throughout Washington state)
• ServSafe Certification preferred
• One year experience in the field of culinary arts preferred
• Kitchen environment subject to hot/cold equipment, tray assembly, delivery, etc

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold food for patient, café, and catering to service standards.
• Maintain food quality, presentation, and safe temperatures during holding and service.
• Assist with food preparation and final service from kitchen to patient or customer areas.
