Responsibilities include:

  1. Preparing all menu items following recipes and yield guides.
  2. Meeting with Sous Chef/Station Cook I to review assignments, anticipated business levels, changes, and other relevant information.
  3. Starting prep work on items needed for the day's menu and assisting Line Cooks throughout the shift.
  4. Setting up work stations with required mise en place, tools, equipment, and supplies, and breaking down stations and completing closing duties at the end of the shift.
  5. Maintaining proper storage procedures as specified by health regulations and hotel requirements, following food handling guidelines.
